Class Fish Tank

Made for one classroom. Now free for yours.

Class Fish Tank started in one 2nd grade classroom. A teacher wanted to motivate her students to do their homework, so her daughter-in-law, a programmer, built her a live fish tank where every child has a fish that grows a little with every point they earn.

Within a week, parents noticed the difference: their kids were finishing homework on time, and asking for extra work, just to feed their fish.

When her son shared the story online, more than 100,000 people saw it, and teachers kept asking the same question: can I use this in my classroom? So we turned it into Class Fish Tank, free for every teacher.

Kids are not only doing all their homework on time but also doing so much extra to get points to feed their fish. Parents say kids can't stop talking about their fish, even over dinner.
